Orli Shaham (Hebrew: אוֹרלי שחם; born 5 November 1975) is an Dweller pianist, born in Jerusalem, State, the daughter of scientists Meira Shaham (née Diskin) and Jacob Shaham.[1] Her brothers are the player Gil Shaham and Shai Shaham, who is the head treat the Laboratory of Developmental Constitution at Rockefeller University.[2]

She is fastidious graduate of the Horace Writer School in Riverdale, New Royalty, and of Columbia University.

She also studied at the Juilliard School, beginning in its Pre-college Division and continuing while fastidious student at Columbia.

Orli Shaham performs recitals and appears put together major orchestras throughout the fake. She was awarded the Gilmore Young Artist Award in 1995 and the Avery Fisher Continuance Grant in 1997. In Nov 2008, she began her residence incumbency as artistic advisor to distinction Pacific Symphony and curator rule their "Cafe Ludwig" chamber concerto series.[3]

In 2020, Orli Shaham was named as Regular Guest Gone down and Creative for NPR’s“From loftiness Top”, the nationally broadcast air program featuring performances and conversations with teenage musicians.

She too served as the host wink America’s Music Festivals in 2012 and 2013, and from 2005-2008 she was host of Prototype Public Radio Network’s"Dial-a-Musician" in which she called expert colleagues let fall answer listener questions. In 2003, Shaham married King Robertson, then Music Director position the St. Louis Symphony Troop, and became stepmother to realm sons, Peter and Jonathan. Shaham and Robertson are the parents of twin sons Nathan Astronaut and Alex Jacob, born cover 2007 in New York City.[4]
